Beacon-Directory is holding a contest and will be giving away two prizes. The contest is not so hard but you have to own a blog/site with a lot of traffic if you really want to earn something at this give-away.

The first place winner will receive the new 16 GB iPod Touch shipped directly to them from the Apple Store compliments of Beacon-Directory! The second place winner will receive a one year prepaid subscription to Sirius Internet Radio! Maybe you are now asking , what should you do to qualify for this prizes. That’s what i was also wondering when i first read about this contest.

The contest winner will be the website that generates the most NEW, UNIQUE visits to Beacon-Directory under the guidelines listed below:

  1. The contest will be judged using Google Analytics, which is installed on every page on Beacon-Directory.
  2. Google Analytics screenshot and/or a Camtasia recording will be used as proof for determining the winner.
  3. The contest will be evaluated in Google Analytics for the dates of Sept. 14, 2007 through Sept. 28, 2007.
  4. Only sites that are accepted for listing on Beacon-Directory may participate.
  5. Traffic must come from your accepted listed site.
  6. You may send traffic from any page as long as it is found on your approved listing domain. ie) you are free to have a landing page that promotes Beacon-Directory within your site or domain. However, you may not send a user through an automatic redirect, the user must willingly click to come to the site.
  7. Multiple entries are allowed, but each site will be evaluated individually
  8. New, unique visits will be calculated by multiplying the total visits sent from the contestant site by the percentage of new visits. This is the fairest way to prevent cheating. So if your site sends 100 visitors and the percentage of new visitors is 25%, then you have sent 25 new, unique visitors.
  9. You may start participation at ANY time between the evaluated dates, so if you are a master internet marketer you can start a week or 10 days into the contest if you like.
  10. I will NOT reveal ANY detailed specifics about the standings with exception of listing the placement of the top 10. I WILL NOT reveal how many visitors a site has sent until the very end. So don’t ask! You’ll just have to watch your rankings to figure that out.
  11. Anyone caught breaking or bending any of the rules will be disqualified and notified via email with an explanation.

How can it be more simple? All you have to do is to write about this contest and then to figure out how you can generate traffic through your sites!
