There are a lot of people who say that even if they have over x0.000 page views over the month from around x,000 visitors the don’t have a big revenue. Why’s that ? Because there adsense earnings and affiliate programs doens’t depend only on how many visitors or page views you have per month. There are a lot of factors than contributes to a blog’s earnings.
1. Traffic : It’s a significant factor in determining the earning capacity of a blog but not the most important one. To get a high traffic level you have to write quality posts about interesting subjects. Your work will be apreciated and your subscribers will grow.
2. Source of Traffic : This is another important factor because the one that really counts is the high-quality traffic not the one from social bookmarking sites. There are three quality sources : loyal readers , search engines and refferral traffic. (i will write more about loyal readers , search engines readers and refferral traffic in the future)
3. Topic: This factor is very important because you have to write for all kind of people and the most important thing is to have a popular topic and to make your blog a respected one.
4. Age of Blog: A blog is like the wine, as older as it gets the better it is. There are a lot of reasons why blogs tend to get better with age, such as : quantity of content, SEO, reputation and network.
5. Time Invested: If you don’t have time to write constant posts , you won’t have a succesful site , i guarantee that. That’s why this is another important factor in making money with your blog.
Don’t forget to consider these tips if you want to have a succesful blog , with a big revenue per month.

AuctionAds have announced a bonus of $25 for new publishers signing up to use their system. Sign up and your balance will automatically receive the $25 without you having to do anything. They do have a minimum payout of $50 so you’ll need to implement their ads to reach that mark before you get your money but it’s nice little incentive to get you using their system.

If you’ve already signed up with AuctionAds you will still get your $25 bonus if you’ve not had a payout previously.

Nowadays there are a lot of affiliates that offer you a great chance to increase your online profit, but as always you have to consider some factors like :
1. Can you make money from the product ?
This is an important factor , it doesn’t matter if that affiliate offers you high commission figures or multi-tier payments , if you won’t be able to make money from that product. Before choosing that affiliate you have to answer at 2 important questions : Is it a product that people will buy ? Is the commission rate sufficient to make your efforts worthwhile? If you’ve found positive answers to this question , then go ahead and use that Affiliate Program.
2. How effective is the sales page ?
Visit the sales page of the product to confirm that the sales copy does a good job of selling the product. Be aware of the various ways that can lose out on your commission.
3. Check out the affiliate support
The merchant should provide you with much more than just a link to join the affiliate program. Check for any useful promotional material - sample ads, articles, solo mailings, endorsements/reviews, signatures.
4. How many affiliate programs should you promote ?
If you plan to put a number of affiliate products on one page then the more you have the more diluted the effect. The exception being if they all relate to the same topic. A good compromise is to use a company which contains many affiliate programs under one umbrella. They consolidate your commissions into one payment and have a standardized format for affiliate links with no individual sign-ups required.
